Shipping policy
All shipping time estimates are based on non-Holiday season averages. Graybill Chrome & Repair cannot guarantee these estimates, especially during times of above average shipping volume, such as Holidays, or extreme weather conditions that may affect transportation of goods. All damage claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
Small Package
In stock items generally ship within 1 - 2 business days (M-F) unless they are LTL Freight. (See Oversized Freight Policy Below) These packages ship via UPS, USPS or FedEx. Packages are not picked up and do not move on Saturday (except select areas as designated by UPS), Sunday or major US holidays.
If an item is not in stock and cannot be drop shipped, we will advise you of the estimated lead time.
Transit time after leaving our warehouse (Does not include the day it leaves or weekends):
- UPS Ground: 1-5 days
- UPS 3rd Day: 3 days
- UPS 2nd Day: 2 days
- UPS Next day: 1 day
Expedited orders placed before 1:30 PM CST will be shipped the same day. If that is not possible, we will contact you.
Drop Shipments
In order to provide a vast product offering, we sometimes have our suppliers ship directly to the customer. Many of our suppliers ship within 1 – 2 business days. Custom orders and items that need to be built naturally take longer. We will communicate directly with the customer in those instances.
Customer Pick-Up
Pick up is available at our location in Rock Port, MO. Please call 660.283.0661 to discuss pick-up time and options.
Freight/Oversize Shipments
Freight/LTL shipping quotes are calculated based on delivery to commercial addresses.
Carriers will not automatically notify you ahead of time for delivery. If a notification for the delivery is needed, you must schedule a delivery appointment directly with the carrier after the order ships. Additional shipping charges may apply.
When a Freight shipment arrives do not sign the delivery receipt before you have fully inspected the package and have marked down the exceptions and damages on the receipt if they apply. If a Freight shipment does arrive and is damaged, we can not help you if you did not sign for it as damaged and clearly note it on the delivery receipt.
Upon delivery of the shipment, if you do not have the ability and/or equipment to unload your product the freight carrier may ask if you would like to have them unload the product with a lift gate or other methods. Any additional services requested such as this may incur an additional fee charged to the customer by the freight carrier and Graybill Chrome & Repair is not responsible for such charges. The decision to accept these charges lies solely with the delivery recipient.
Canadian Orders
Orders shipping into remote/rural areas of Canada may take somewhat longer to deliver than orders shipping into major cities and suburbs. Please allow up to 2 additional business weeks for delivery to remote/rural Canada.
On all Canadian orders shipped via the USPS/Canada Post, the customer will be responsible for all duties and taxes. As we cannot estimate these charges prior to the shipment's arrival in Canada, these charges are NOT included in your shipping charges.
